Spain ~ Costa de la Luz ~ Isla Canela ~ The flight

Finally! From the grey, rainy and not sunny at all Germany to warm, sunny and beachy Spain! We were going to stay at a hotel in Isla Canela which is really, really close to the border to Portugal.

Well that was the weather in Stuttgart. Ya what did I tell you: grey, rainy and no sun!

After about an hour of flying over clouds you finally could see a little of the landscapes.

When I looked later on at the pictures I took I saw that I actually took a picture of the beach were we stayed. So were you see the red arrow, that's were we stayed.

The yellow arrow is Portugal the river is the border and the red arrow is Spain.

Just some impressions out of the window about 20 min before we landed.

That was how close we flew over the beach.

Landing picture. It's sunny!

July 19th...my 19th Birthday ~ Stuttgart ~ Ich war noch niemals in New York

Turning 19 with the thought goodness you are turning 20 next year :D But it was wonderful! I had friends over and celebrated over night and "into" my birthday :) At the next morning I packed the rest of my stuff and we hit the road towards Stuttgart (again :D), because I got tickets for the Musical "Ich war noch niemals in New York" (I've never been to New York). It was a wonderful musical. It was the total contrast to "Tanz der Vampire" (The fearless vampire killers) because it was all light and and the sea and vacation instead of the dark night and some fearful creatures. But it was great and it made us even more ready for vacation.

The inside of the Apollo theater.

The two Stuttgart Musicals in about a week :D Both are sooo great and I really would love to see them again (but especially "Tanz der Vampire" (The fearless vampire killers") :D)

Musical trip to Stuttgart ~ Tanz der Vampire

Finally!!! Our tickets arrived and on a sunny friday morning Marlene and me hit the road towards Stuttgart. Normally it's about an 2 hour drive. We took 3 1/2 hours because of traffic and a little break in between.

You see the the yellow arrows? These are dutch cars. See the red arrow? That's our car :D

Karin's visit in Kriftel :D:D:D ~ last night

The last night of Karin's visit. We quite enjoyed the good weather. And did some great things on the trampoline.

Looking pretty excited :)

Ya what would be a visit of Karin without some funny pictures.

Ya don't even bother to ask :D

What to do with a trampolin? Well just look at the next few pictures :)

My friend Marlene came over. To chat a little and to get to know Karin :) She just arrived about a week before back in Germany :)

Wow the faces were just hilarious!

Some nice pictures then getting ready for the women's soccer world cup game (watching on TV) :)

Just take a second and look at Karin's face!!!

She kind of liked that stuffed penguin.

Having some nice colored fruit drinks :)
