Vacation ~ Part 2 ~ Las Vegas

My 18th Birthday!!!,  and I am in Las Vegas and I've got a really awesome present. We went to the Lion King Musical at Mandalay Bay. It was such a great show. Definitely one of the most amazing musicals I've ever seen!

Ya Scar is (well just in the musical) one of my favourite roles! And yeah that is an awesome quote :D

I took this picture while drinking my milk shake and I thought it is kind of cool :)

When I saw the entrence I thought "What a small theater." But when we went through those doors ... man... that theater was huge!!!!

South Point. The hotel were we stayed while we were in Las Vegas.

Even after three times I've been in Las Vegas this was the first time I saw the vulcano! And it was good ... really good ... but not as good as Lion King :D

The main entrence of the hotel.

Saying Goodbye again

One of my best friends Marlene got a scholarship for an exchange year. Another friend (Pie) and I thought we could go to a restaurant with her. Ok we were a little overdressed but it was a lot of fun to walk with dresses and high heels through our little neighbour town :D

We couldn't really decide which dresses we should take.

Marlene and Pie. The left one is the one who got the scholarship and is already a half year in Rhode Island by now.

~Soccer Worldcup~

Ok well, for those who don't know it: Soccer is the No1 sport to watch on TV in Germany. So maybe you can imagine what a big party the Soccer World Cup was. You can't?? Well just take a look at those pictures :)

So getting all your flags and stuff together for the first Soccer World Cup Game :)

Flag hanging outside the window? CHECK!

Ya for those who are to lazy :P (It's make up :))

And ready for the first game :D

Frankfurt main train station. My friend and I went to a public viewing in a stadium a little outside of Frankfurt.

A little bit Frankfurt :)

Finally at the Sadium.

The Stadium (The new name is Commerzbank Arena but in earlier days it was called the Forest Stadium).

The big screen, so everybody could watch the game Germany vs. England

5.000 Germany fans and those 3 english fans who where probably already missing on an other fan mile :D

I went to this event with one of my best friends Lene.

The stadium got really full!!!

Ya there had to be a crazy picture :D

We went to the stadium again when Germany played against Spain and ya I think you can see it in our faces who won :(

My flight back to Germany

Goodbye SLC!, I had a wonderful time in Utah and I really would not change the year and the experience that I've had against all the money in the world. A BIG Thank You to the Wright family who became my second family over the year. You are so wonderful, thank you so much.
Hello Chicago! Well I can't really say something about Chicago except that they have a beautiful, a little chaotic airport.
Goodbye Chicago! The pizza at the airport was reall tasty :P
I reall don't know what lake that is but I think it's Lake Michigan but I'm really not sure :D
Well ya I couldn't really sleep so I made some pictures. Most of them are black because it was night outside but as closer we came to Europe as more light came up and the sun began to rise :)
Look at that. Firstable we are in Europe. Secondable: Ya I definitely had kind of a scottish adress in Utah :P
First impression from Germany... It's grey and a little rainy... AND IT'S 5 in the MORNING ...
Look at that... that was what I missed the most ... GREEEEEN :D
3..2...1 Welcome back in Germany! My plane arrived at 5:04am ... extremely EARLY!!! And I slept probably about an hour over that whole 9 hour flight ...
Hello new home... It was a little weird to leave one house and arrive after my exchange year in another one... But I really like that house :D
My little sister made that one by her own :D
 And that one too :)

It was hanging between her room window and my window (it's the right one)  :D
A little present from my partents.
Back in my cute little hometown Kriftel (on the picture you can see the cityhall).

My last days in Utah

The day of graduation. I really kinda love that cap and gown but I was not allowed to wear it so that was just for the picture. But I head a really cute dress on at graduation :D
We where over at a friends house and well as you can see even Laurie went 4-wheeling ( hope you write it like that :D
Well ya, I thought it's kinda fun to wear those skirts which Laurie made for the musical (The wizard of Oz) where Jared and Rachel took part in, on my head :D
Saying goodbye at the airport. Just want to let you know that I miss you all a lot :) After saying goodbye I was just hoping to pass the custom :D But there was no problem even with two (or three) bags :D I met two other German exchange students at the gate and it was sooo weird to speak German again after such a long time of speak well let's say mostely english.
