UPDATE!!! ~ Christmas

Christmas time! Family day! We went to a very nice restaurant in east Frankfurt called "Oosten". It is located at the waterside of the river Main and you have a beautiful view of the skyline of Frankfurt. After that we went to a vaudeville theater called the Tiger Palast (Tiger Palace). As it is traditon in Germany, we do get our presents at the evening of the 24th. So after that we went home and had a very nice dinner and present time :D

UPDATE!!! ~ Halloween

Halloween time. Some friends and me went to the Halloween Party of the Campus of one of our friends. She studies biochemistry at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. So after a lot of thinking about the costume I thought about the classic idea of the ZOMBIE :D
The big problem was that I didn't have fake blood. So I used nail polish. NOT a good idea. I still had it in my hair about three days after.

Just a little bit of fake blood and nail polish :D

UPDATE!!! ~ Abitur (Graduation) 2012

TOk I finally found my password again for my blog acount. So here is the update for the last I think 2 years?! Ok so what happend till, ok my last post was about my course trip..., so yeah I had my final exams a year ago and I finished High School.

Finally we got our graduation certificate!!!
The last week of High School was so much fun we had something called motto week. We had a different motto on every single day of this week. It was soo much fun. So the first day of the motto week was "Firtst School Day". In Germany you get dressed up on your first school day and you get a cone filled with sweets and treats and stuff you need for your first school day. Sadly my one broke about 7 years ago so I just had my primary school bagpack :D

So that's me in my "costume". It was such a nice feeling.
That's the class '12 all dressed up for their "First School Day"!
The second day was "Bad Taste". So ya their were some really fun costumes!!!

Yeah so it's a very bad colorful taste :D
So second day and a very colorful class '12
Third day of motto week was sex change. It was so much fun to see all the guys being dressed up as girls!!!

All dressed up as a show gentleman! I really got sick of the beard at the end of school :D
Class '12 all switched up.
At the fourth day of the motto week we were all dressed up as well I don't know what the correct translation for it is but I think it gets pretty close to antisocial or so.

I was so happy to get all this make-up off my face when I came home.
I really can't understand how girls could walk around like that.
Funny to see the class '12 like that :D
The final and fifth day of the motto week was pj day! My "dream come true" - motto!!! I really always wanted to go to school in my pj's :D Sadly their is no group picture of this day!

Showing of flag at the last day of school, my little travel mouse!
That week was one of the many things which were really much fun!!! Anoher almost traditional is the graduation joke. The goal is close down school for at least first two classes. Our theme was "Maya - after us only the end of the world". So we did some fun games with a few teachers like the Bobby car race.

Ya maybe not completly Maya but it did it.
While the exam there is another tradition in Germany. Family and friends draw/paint big Posters with quotes and wishes for the graduates.

M otivated, A llrounder, I ntelligent, P owerful, A mbitious
Today Abi (Graduation), tomorrow the world
You can do it!

The final big thing to do with school at the end of every senior year is the graduation prom! The food was horrible but the atmosphere was awesome!!!

Me and my girls! FINALLY DONE!!!
My lovely "little" sister and me.
CLASS '12. Everybody's singing Robbie Williams' "Angel". Our Graduation song.

Let me proudly present: CLASS 2012! We did it!

English major course trip to LONDON 9/30 - 10/5/2012 ~ first day ~ an impression

So excited. Last time I went to London was when I was 13 or so. I also heard the weather was going to be great which is pretty awesome when you think about the normal weather in London. So things were packed and heading of to Frankfurt Airport.

9pm meeting with all english major courses and the teachers.

British Airways: you order water and get this ... no further comment...
So cool... London bus and cab!!!

Actually a really cool and clean and wonderful looking area where our hostel was in.

Our hostel in London.
Underground sign.
A typical British Pub.
That's how the back sides of...
...those houses look like.
Our hostel was really close to Thai Embassy.
Again a cab. Love how they all have cool different commercial  adds all over them.
Touristic friendly streets.

The Royal Albert Hall was right down the street.
A beautiful building.
A really beautiful monument... The man called Albert... he is the one the Royal Albert Hall is named after... no I have no idea who he is.
Commercial for the Natural History Museum.

The Natural History Museum right across the street from our hostel.

"Our" Underground station: Gloucester Road

London Night Walk with my major course and teacher.

Tower Bridge at night.

A really beautiful building were some pubs are in ... forgot how it was called.

I remember that my teacher said that some parts of the Harry Potter movies were taped in here.

An office building which looks similar to the centre pompidou in france.

The "Cucumber" of London.

Love how new architecture stands right beside those really old buildings.

One of those cute little shopping streets.

St. Pauls Cathedral.
The dome of St. Pauls.

Great architecture.

It is such a big building. Look at the persons who sit in front of it and then imagine how big it is.

This bridge took also place at the beginning in one of the Harry Potter movies :D
First night party time.

Party with the girls.

Attention the Germans hit the floor :D

Our way cool bracelets :D

Great great time.
